The ''Camden'' was a 423-ton merchant ship built upon the River Thames in 1799. She made two voyages transporting convicts from England to Australia. Camden also made a voyage for the British East India Company. ==Career== On her first convict voyage, under the command of William Fulcher and surgeon David Boyter, she departed London on the 28 March 1831, with 198 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 25 July 1831. There were no convict deaths en route. The second convict voyage, under the command of George Clayton and surgeon Joseph Steret, she departed Sheerness on 22 September 1832 with 200 male convicts. She arrived in Sydney on 18 February 1833 and had two convict deaths en route.
